REGISTERING FOR THE COMPOSER DEMO ROOM MENTORING SESSIONS

A limited number of composer demo room mentoring sessions are available at both the Los Angeles and New York Composer Expo events. These special areas feature film and television music agents and others who will listen to your demo, answer your questions, and give you practical, hands-on advice about your career and your music.

In order to accommodate as many attendees as possible, the sessions are a total of 10 minutes in length - typically composers play 2-3 minutes of music and spend the balance of the session discussing their career and asking questions. Demo room mentoring sessions are booked from 9:15am to 6:00pm.

To book a demo room session:

1. Check the mentor status page to determine which demo room mentors still have time slots availabe. Demo room time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be changed. Mentors with currently available time slots are listed on the Composer Expo LA and NY Mentor Status Page

2. Click the registration link for the event you wish to attend above that includes the demo room mentoring session fee ($20).

3. Book your mentor and session time by contacting Global Media Online by calling 1-888-910-7888 or (310) 209-8263 ext. 1. It is your responsibility to call as soon as your registration is completed in order to make sure your mentor is still available. CD and DVD players are available in the demo rooms. Times will be booked based on remaining available session when you call. If you call after hours, your call will be returned the next business day in the order it was received. You will receive a confirmation email for your mentoring session which you should bring with you to the event for admission to the demo rooms.

4. If you already registered for the event WITHOUT a mentor session and wish to add one, please contact us at 1-888-910-7888 ext. 1 or (310) 209-8263 ext. 1 after consulting the demo room mentor status page to see if your mentor still has time slots available.
